The Objective-C 2.0 Programming Language (Apple Inc.)

The ANSI C language standard has a modest but potent collection of extensions called Objective-C. Objective-C is made to easily give C complete object-oriented programming features.

The initial element of the development environment is the programming language, which is the subject of this book. It provides a thorough explanation of the Objective-C programming language and lays the groundwork for understanding the second element, the Cocoa collection of Objective-C application frameworks for Mac OS X.
