The Future of American Intelligence (Peter Berkowitz)

The United States now has to deal with new types of enemies that are equipped with a variety of evil weapons and have never-before-seen global communication and coordination capabilities.

As The Future of American Intelligence reveals, the United States must alter the way it gathers, analyzes, and converts intelligence into policy in order to survive in this perilous new environment.

These essays, written by a range of eminent experts, improve our comprehension of the contemporary risks to national security posed by terrorism, the spread of WMD, and Islamic extremism. They look at the challenges to strengthening American intelligence and make suggestions for effective reform.
