About the Authors
Independent computer consultant Greg Lehey specializes in UNIX. He was born in Australia and had his education there before moving to Germany to study chemistry and England to study chemical engineering. He has spent his whole professional life in Germany, where, prior to deciding to go into business for himself, he worked for computer makers like Univac and Tandem, the German space research agency, anonymous software companies, and a significant user.
