About the Authors
  • Former Seattle Post-Intelligencer investigative projects reporter Daniel Lathrop. In Washington State, Iowa, Florida, and Washington, D.C., he has covered politics. He worked as a key researcher for Charles Lewis' New York Times best-selling book "The Buying of the President 2004." 
  • The Gov 2.0 Evangelist at O'Reilly Media is Laurel Ruma. She serves as the Gov 2.0 Expo's co-chair. After working as an editor at several Boston-area IT research and consulting companies, Laurel joined the company in 2005. Laurel studied photography and homebrewing at Union College.
