Modeling Creativity - Case Studies in Python (Tom De Smedt)

This book investigates the computer representation of creativity. Our goal is to build computer models that are creative in an aesthetic sense, capable of producing or evaluating a work of art (visual or linguistic), a novel concept, or a personal viewpoint.

It looks at creativity from a variety of angles, from its fundamentally blind origins in nature to humans and computers, and from coming up with original ideas to assessing and discovering their originality and utility. With case studies and examples in the Python programming language, we'll take a practical approach.

The topic of this book is to model creativity using computational methodologies in Python programming language. The goal is to build computer models that demonstrate creativity in an artistic setting, meaning that they can produce or evaluate a work of art (visual or linguistic), a novel concept, or a personal viewpoint.
