Digital Video Concepts, Methods, and Metrics (Shahriar Akramullah)

For professionals in a variety of applications and professions, this book serves as a condensed reference.

Its main goal is to help the reader learn the theories, processes, and metrics involved in digital video coding so they may select and adjust the coding parameters to best meet their individual needs for quality, compression, speed, and power.

There are numerous useful considerations: The trend toward customer control of video quality and speed by balancing several other aspects is just getting started with the uploading of videos to the Internet. The end-user would have more control with open source and paid applications like video e-mail, third-party content development, editing, and archiving, and cloud asset management.
