Database Explorations: Essays on The Third Manifesto and Related Topics (C.J. Date, et al)

The Third Manifesto, the author's proposal for a foundation for data and database management systems, is the subject of this book, which is a collection of exploratory essays on database management.

More specifically, the essays focus on problems that arise from and are connected to The Third Manifesto (DBMSs)

Database experts are the target market. Therefore, we presume that you are at least somewhat familiar with the relational model and the SQL language (even though some relational and/or SQL principles are briefly revisited here and there, or more specifically, wherever we think such explanations could be beneficial).
