For advanced undergraduate students who have already taken classes in probability, mathematical statistics, and linear regression, this textbook on data analysis methods is designed.

It started out as the lecture notes for Carnegie Mellon University's course 36-402.

From an elementary perspective, every topic addressed here may be investigated economically using far more advanced methods, making it advanced data analysis.

The book also assumes that you are familiar with basic R reading and writing. This book is not really for you, at least not right now, if you are lacking in any of these areas.
