A Programmer's Guide to Java SCJP Certification: A Comprehensive Primer, 3rd Edition (Khalid Mughal, et al)

You can use this book to help you study for and pass the CX-310-065 Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform SE 6 Exam. It is intended for any seasoned programmer (with or without prior Java programming expertise) who is interested in learning Java programming and passing the SCJP 1.6 Exam.

It offers thorough coverage of all exam subjects and objectives, easily executable code samples, programming exercises, a fresh mock exam, and a lot of study questions. This book also serves as a full introduction to the Java programming language and is a priceless resource.

To concentrate on the most recent iteration of the test, this new edition has undergone a complete overhaul (CX-310-065). It includes detailed explanations of the language aspects in particular. As required by the exam, coding scenarios are used to explain how to use them. A version of the SCJP 1.6 Exam Simulator created by the authors is available on the companion website (www.ii.uib.no/khalid/pgjc3e/). Additionally, all of the examples from the book's source code are available on the website, along with answers to the programming challenges.
