A Companion to Digital Humanities offers a thorough yet condensed summary of this newly growing field. 37 unique pieces authored by experts in the field that address the main issues of those interested in the topic are included in the collection.

About the Authors
  • Susan Schreibman serves as the University of Maryland Libraries' faculty member, the Assistant Director of the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities, and an affiliate faculty member in the English department. 
  • At the University of Victoria, Ray Siemens holds the Canada Research Chair in Humanities Computing and is an associate professor of English. He previously held the positions of Professor of English at Malaspina University-College and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King's College London's Centre for Computing in the Humanities. 
  • The University of Illinois, Urbana-Graduate Champaign's School of Library and Information Science is led by John Unsworth. He is the founding co-editor of the online magazine Postmodern Culture and the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities at the University of Virginia.
